Trip to Taylor Valley

Oz and I were able to help Brian and Wally bring in some of the reccy group's gear from their field site at the Taylor Valley. This was a short but stunning flight over McMurdo Sound and glacier-carved mountains. Many of the exposed outcrops had horizontal bedding, with formations reminiscent of the Colorado Plateau. Large, dark sills of the Ferrar Dolerite were sometimes visible.
